It says I need a social security number or credit history but I’m a non-US citizen and don’t have those, can you still do a remote online notarization?
At this time, the secured third-party platform does not provided way to get around the KBA Identification check, which requires a U.S. Social Security. It is possible, if you have a ITIN that we could try but it would probably be best at this time, until the platforms have figured out a way around this for foreign individuals living in the United States, to schedule a mobile or in-office notary appointment.
I'm a US Citizen but I'm currently out of the country, can you still do a remote online notarization?
Yes! As long as you have access to all of the items mentioned above, we can do your notarization, while you're anywhere in the world!
I’m in Tennessee but the document I’m getting notarized is from another State. Can I still do remote online notarization?
More than likely, yes. But you should contact the company or person that is requesting the document to be notarized, as each State is different as to whether or not they will accept an electronic notarization. We are not licensed attorneys nor are we aware of the notary laws/requirements of other States.
Can I get a copy of the video feed from my online notarization?
Of course, just ask us and we will send you a link to the video. Please note that witnesses will not be entitled to receive a copy of the video for the safety and security of the signer(s). If your witness(es) would like a copy, you may request a copy and you can send it to your witness(es) directly. In addition, this request could take about 24-48 hours to obtain. Please be patient.
How quickly can I schedule my remote online notarization?
We ask for at least two business days advance notice. That said, if you need to schedule your signer earlier, our RON Platinum Package offers a scheduling appointment within 24 hours of your order. If you need a rush service on another product, please let us know.
